This path connects Up Green to Footpath 16 just South of Hollybush Lane, and in doing so provides options to walk to the Parish Church, Village Hall or Kingsley Hotel from Up Green. This path itself is usually a good surface in most weather conditions, although can get a little overgrown at times.
Starting at an innocuous turning off Chequers Lane, it’s signposted on the right if you head up Chequers Lane from The Chequers Pub, before you reach the turning left to Up Green towards Yateley.
Turning between the two houses you will encounter a small gate and a path that skirts the Eversley Copse on the left and a fenced field on the right, offering great views back towards Eversley. After a short while you will encounter the junction with Footpath 20 that is a well surfaced and wide path from Hollybush Lane and that leads into Eversley Copse.
Head straight across this path to continue along the edge of the wood, until you reach the junction with Footpath 16 at the edge of the gated field, next to an imposing Electricity pylon. Here you can turn left towards the Church or right to head back across the fields towards Hollybush Lane.
