This short path is a key enabler (in conjunction with FP 24) to the pedestrian wishing to reach Yateley without attending the extremely busy B3272 which at the time of writing has no footpaths.
On Longwater Road, opposite the turning to Longwater Lane, Footpath 23 starts outside Dial House and along a clear track towards the Cricket Club. The path tracks directly behind the cricket club, navigating between the “mower” shed and the wooden pavilion.
At the end of the pavilion, keep towards the left-hand corner and there is then a small gate and wooden bridge over the stream. Keep to the right hand bank (ignoring the bridge to your left which takes you to the new Sports fields).
This path is followed along its length, passing a couple of old gates or stiles with fields to either side of you until you reach the exit to Fox Lane.
Take care here as the entrance to the new Eversley Sports Association fields and car parks are just on your left, so beware of traffic.
