This very short walk officially stops at the top of Castle Bottom, where once it provided a connection between cottages to the Welsh Drive and hence a route to Church. The cottages are long gone, but this is an interesting walk that crosses the Castle Bottom Nature reserve and if followed will allow a connection to Footpath 26, connecting a circular route around the parish.

Access is via Welsh Drive (Footpath 11) from Coopers Hill towards Blackbush. A short way along Footpath 11 a left turn to a narrow path across the gravel pits is well signed, keep left and walk along the gorse lined pathway. At the end of the path, you’ll see a wooden gate that allows access to the Nature reserve. This is officially the end of Footpath 13.
