Start: Reading Road (Opposite Crosby Gardens at Parish Boundary)

End: Firgrove Road (Thatched white cottage)

This path is an ancient lane, known to locals as “Love Lane”.

Starting from the main road between Eversley and Yateley, the entrance to Love Lane can be seen on the right just before the turning to Crosby Gardens (on the left) at the Parish Boundary.

It is quite a wide byway, with high hedgerows on either side making it difficult to see the fields either side. It’s a quiet and shaded pathway, which no doubt accounts for the relatively muddy nature of the path (especially in winter). A short walk along its length provides access to Firgrove Road, just outside a black and white thatched cottage (Firgrove Cottage). There are footpaths to the right that can take you towards FP 25 or P 26 or perhaps instead you may wish to turn left towards Yateley.
